The Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in the country, now have
accessible cloud services says MTN Nigeria.
Affirming this to DigitalSENSE Business News, the Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, Mr. Babatunde Osho, said the launch makes MTN the first
telecommunications operator to offer cloud services to small businesses in the
Nigerian market.
“It
is a range of prepaid cloud-based services designed to offer Human Resource Management, Customer
Relationship Management and other enterprise software over a secure
internet connection. And this without any of the associated IT infrastructure
costs,” he said.
Osho
pointed out that with the launch of the services, SMEs in Nigeria would now be
able to enjoy enterprise solutions without the usual attendant cost.
He
also said technology has become a key differentiator and enabler for businesses
and as such offerings like MTN Cloud Services can prove to be a critical success
factor for SMEs due to their flexibility and pay-as-you-go cost structure. He
said the services would enable small businesses to increase their productivity
and by implication, profitability.

Business Nigeria online portal, providing a one-stop shop for a range of

Oshod said.
He pledged that MTN Business would continue to add value
