Nigerian software company, the Future Software Resources Ltd, is seeking votes in support of its i-Connect Bus project for the Global
Innovation through Science & Technology Competition (GISTTech) says the
Executive Director, Mrs Nkemdilim Begho.
Disclosing this to DigitalSENSE Business News, Mrs.
Begho in an appeal letter to friends, families and clients, said that i-Connect
Bus project has made it into the top 90 of the contest, noting that i-Connect
Bus is a project that focuses on changing the face of education in Nigeria as
they hope to extend this initiative across Africa.
“We have just made it into the TOP 90 of the Global Innovation through Science & Technology Competition,” stressing that the project making it to the next round depends largely on the number of votes it gets online, “so we need your vote.”

She explained the process of voting is by visiting i-Connect Bus and clicking on the big blue thumbs up and vote for this project.
“You can vote more than once. So, please vote,
vote and vote,” she declared.
Mrs. Begho further solicited those keen in
driving this vote for i-Connect Bus to use the project cover picture on
Facebook for the next 1 week.
“To help us raise awareness and get all your
friends to do the same and of course vote, vote and vote,” she said, adding
that this would help
her team put African Tech and sustainable solutions from Africans for Africans
on the Map.
DigitalSENSE Business News recalls that the iConnect Project is a concept for a mobile ICT suite for schools without ICT Labs and has 40-50 computers on board which could be shared by up to 4 schools.
