The
certified value added distributor for Apple in Africa, the Core Group Africa has partnered the world leading media house, Media24 Digital Magazines.
Rutger-Jan
van Spaandonk, Core Group Africa’s Director, confirmed to DigitalSENSE Business News that
they would give customers free 3 months subscriptions to selected Media24
digital magazines when purchasing an iPad or iPod touch.
The
partnership, he said, is exclusive to Core Group Africa and is available at all
Apple Authorized Resellers in Nigeria.
“We
are constantly looking for innovative ways to ensure our customers get the most
out of their Apple products,” says Spaandonk.
As
said by him, Apple products like the iPad are ideal for reading digital
magazines, and giving Nigerians access to free content adds to their product
experience.
He
explained that when customers purchase an iPad or iPod touch from an Apple
Authorized Reseller, they will be encouraged to follow a few simple steps to
redeem their digital magazines voucher.
“The
voucher is called Kanko and will give access to a bundle of popular magazines.
Kanko vouchers are easy to redeem through www.isocietynigeria.com and once
activated the selected magazines can be read using the My Subs+ app. Customers
can continue reading their best-loved magazines once the 3 month free
subscription period is over by renewing the subscription to their favourite
titles.
Kanko,
he said, consists of 13 magazine titles and is valued at over ₦9180 per month,
giving a total value of ₦27 540 during the 3 month period.
Further,
he said that the Kanko voucher includes the following acclaimed magazine
titles: Kick Off, Drum, True Love, Move!, Real, Finweek, topCar, Grazia, You,
Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Your Baby, and Your Pregnancy.
“We
encourage customers to purchase an iPad or iPod touch from Apple Authorised
Resellers and take advantage of this exclusive digital magazine offering. We
will continue to ensure that there are ongoing value adding partnerships that
motivate customers to purchase from official partners,” concludes Van
Spaandonk.

Group Africa is a subsidiary of Core Group of South Africa, and is responsible
