Anthony Nwakaegho/DigitalSENSE Business News:

The Vice Chancellor of Convent University, Prof. Charles Ayo and four other Vice Chancellors have been added to the lists of experts to discuss Prof. Tapio Varis paper at the forthcoming Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria's (ISPON) National Software Conference in Tinapa, Calabar on October 22 through 23, 2013.

The other four Vice Chancellors include Prof. Musbau Akanji (Minna), Prof. James Epoke (Calabar), Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole (Ibadan), and Prof. Humphrey A. Ogoni (Niger Delta).

ISPON president, Chief Chris Uwaje confirmed DigitalSENSE Business News that the Conference is also hosting an annual competition for software development among Nigerian youths and University students.

DigitalSENSE Business News gathered that  there will be a Broadband Pavilion which will showcase investment opportunities, strides of Nigeria's leading broadband infrastructure firms, and an update on ongoing work especially in Nigeria's rural communities.

The pavilion is to be mounted to complement the two days of a critical examination of recent developments in software development strategies and how it ties up with high speed internet access efforts.

These VCs will join the existing list of industry leaders including Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, Prof. Pat Utomi, Ambassador Nkoyo Toyo, and Ms Barbara James to discuss the paper, while Prof Tapio Varis will speak on "SORWORK - Software Strategies for Retooling the Workforce."

... Making SENSE of digital revolution!
