HP ElitePad 900 debuts in Nigeria

Acclaimed technology mobility leader, Hewlett Packard (HP) has unveiled its latest in stock, the HP ElitePad 900 into the Nigeria’s market.

Speaking to DigitalSENSE Business News in Lagos, Channel Sales Manager for HP West Africa, Morakinyo Ipoola, said ElitePad 900 was introduced into the market to create optimal performance, mostly as it comes with Intel Atom processors Z2760 series.

“This new device promises to ease work load by providing support for existing business applications with capacity to be tailored to suit industry-specific software and hardware options,” Ipoola said.

According to the Channel Sales Manager, the new Intel-based HP ElitePad also comes with innovation such as true-to-life video meetings, digital dual array microphone with SRS audio, camera and flash with 8.0 megapixels of vivid details in photos or videos.

In addition, Ipoola noted that ElitePad is in town with top security for data protection on lost devices as well as integration services that eases deployment of the product globally.

The device, he said, has been designed to work with the existing Information Technology (IT) environment to provide a familiar enterprise class set-up experience as well as a personal experience that allows a seamless integration from the living room to the boardroom.

“It is simply a device for business and beyond,” Ipoola declared, stressing that ElitePad is a smart and secure device that is effective for transforming business.

He emphasized that ElitePad is a clear example of HP’s attention to high quality materials and craftsmanship with an Intel-powered operating system for top notch technology and rugged exterior that is built to last.

Further, he highlighted the fact that ElitePad has capacity for remote capturing of Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card information, wide viewing angle, multi-touch display, security manager, up to 32 Gega bytes14 hard drives all powered by Intel.

Commenting, country manager, Intel Corporation Nigeria, Mr. Olubunmi Ekundare described Intel as an innovation-centric company, passionate about the kind of technology that drives productivity and efficiency in all areas such as healthcare, education, business and more.

As said by him, with the  Intel Atom processor inside the ElitePad, users could make the most of a touch interface that gives the device a unique interactive feel that makes it both fun and useful for businesses.
