Finacle core banking solution: Heritage Bank partner CWG, Infosys




The Heritage Banking Company (HBC) Limited, has joined the number of financial institutions in the country deploying Finacle core banking solution being offered locally by the Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) and owned by Infosys.

Chief Information Officer, HBC, Mr. Ike Williams, corroborating this to DigitalSENSE Business News at the weekend, said that on retaining its operational license recently from Central Bank of Nigeria, HBC, formerly SocieteGenerale Bank of Nigeria (SGBN) it was clear that the era of innovation has come to the banking financial services landscape in Nigeria.

He also said that HBC team understood and embraced the application of technology as the engine of innovation and excellent customer service experience by partnering CWG, who is the local solution provider for Finacle to deploy acclaimed core banking application.

The head, marketing communications at CWG, Ms Success Nmerife, quoted the chief executive officer, Mr. Austin Okere, as saying this partnership was indeed a stepping stone and confirmation of HBC’s determination to deliver excellent customer service that will truly harness their customers’ wealth and grow it for today and future generation as quality banking technology like Finacle is a necessity to achieving and exceeding customers’ expectation.

He described Finacle core banking solution as a comprehensive, integrated, yet modular and agile business solution, addressing all the core needs of banks, in easy-to-configure modules.

Finacle, he said, provides all the building blocks of business functionality, enabling users to configure products and processes flexibly in order to adapt to a dynamic environment.
