Nigerians blame Mr. Saka for 3G deterioration on MTN

Nigeria telecom consumers on leading Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication operator, MTN Nigeria are lamenting the reported porting of popular local artiste, Mr. Saka, accusing him of
prevailing deterioration of data services on the network.

Investigations by DigitalSENSE Business News at the weekend, especially Friday, showed that though the move has attracted some high-level discuss, mostly on why Etisalat Nigeria should allow its brand personality to ‘port’ in terms of being used for such a campaign since April 22.

However, the reports reaching our news desk shows that it may have paved way for more traffic on MTN, but the end result is customer unsatisfied declaration due to what they claim is worsening service than ever before.

According to some of the customers, mostly of data services, in fact, they are blaming the ‘porting campaign’ and hence request that only if ‘Mr. Saka’ can port back to where he is coming from with envisaged notion that it could afford the network some stability.

One of the irate customers declared "Mr. SAKA port go back Etisalat o, as you port come MTN, 3G waka thru out yesterday. Sincerely: A data customer."

The above means that since Mr. Saka ported from Etisalat, MTN, especially its Third Generation (3G) has gone unbearable for data customers, even as they urge Mr. Saka to kindly port back to where he was porting from.
