AFRINIC,
the Regional Internet Registry for Africa has concluded a training sessions for
30 participants on Internet Protocol version Six (IPv6) for engineers in the
city of Johannesburg, South Africa.

News, Ms Babusha Radhakissoon of AFRINIC Training Unit, with a session on IPv6 for Managers and Internet Number Resources Management.
The
four-day session, Radhakissoon said commenced on September 9th and ended
on 12th this year, as part of iWeek
which held at the Thaba Ya Batswana Eco Hotel.
DigitalSENSE Business News gathered
that AFRINIC training sessions were led by Mukom Akong Tamon and Nishal
Goburdhan of AFRINIC.
This,
Radhakissoon, pointed out falls under AFRINIC's training programme which aims at helping network
engineers on the continent to better plan and manage Internet Number resources
and IPv6 networks.
The
course was attended by 30 participants from Internet service entities and law enforcement
ogranisations.
“We

hosting this event,” Radhakissoon said.
