Nokia thrills customers with Lumia 625 in Lagos

Nokia West Africa in partnership with MTN Nigeria has introduced its Lumia 625 series as it thrills customers at Nokia Win Big Live Lumia Competition at the Sound City show in Lagos at the weekend.

The Sales Director Nokia Middle East and Africa, Mr Patrick Davet told DigitalSENSE Business News at the media briefing at Civic Centre, Victoria Island that Nokia Lumia 625 has so many characteristics that made it stand out such as 1.2 gigawatt, 8 gigabytes storage and could take 512 round memories with smart camera, sharp lens, and video recorder among others.

He explained that Nokia is improving on its study for the lowest smart phone that is developed in high range with price put at N79,000 and N43,000 for retail, just as he invited customers to visit Nokia.com.ng to get more information.

Nokia Lumia 625, Davet said, comes with touch sensitive that enables people with long nails to still operate the smartphone successfully, moreso with its 4.7 inch-screen, which makes picture capturing very easy and exciting.

The Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Nigeria , Mr Larry Annetts also DigitalSENSE Business News that it was an exciting experience for MTN to partner with Nokia in the promotion of Lumia 625 because the phone would give a much better experience to the users, especially those who want to download games and so on.

On his part, the Group Channel Producer, Sound City, Mr Olumide Adedeji said that Nokia is the right partner to work with at this moment, stressing that with Windows 8, Lumia 625 users could actually export local contents to the world.

Adedeji explained that the retail price Lumia 625 makes it affordable, and customers could download activities at Sound City as well as have access to video, music and exclusive interviews.

Commenting on the partnership, the Public Relations Manager, Lagos-based Giditraffic, Bethia Idoko, said that Giditraffic decided to engage in the partnership with Nokia to make the Lumia 625 phone more interesting and user friendly.
