MTN Nigeria, the leading telecommunication company and Forte Oil plc have unveiled a strategic partnership that is geared towards serving the telecommunication and fuel needs of their customers in Nigeria, DigitalSENSE Business News reports.

a chat, said that MTN Nigeria and Forte Oil share the same value and as MTN is
connecting with the customers, Forte oil provides fuel for their movement.
Ikpoki
said the partnership is to make life more convenient for customers since Forte
Oil operates 24 hours services across the country so MTN customers will benefit
as its products will be available in all the 500 Forte Oil retail outlets
across the country.
“It
is a relationship for the future as Forte oil continues to expand, MTN will be
doing the same. MTN and Forte oil customers are at liberty to enjoy 24 hours
services getting all the MTN products ranging from purchase of SIM cards,
registration and recharging, while buying fuel and other Forte Oil Plc products
in a one- stop shop,” he said.
The
Group Chief Executive Officer, Forte Oil Plc Mr Akin Akinfemiwa also informed
DigitalSENSE Business News that his company saw MTN Nigeria
as a reliable partner with strong brand that would help to boost its own revenue potential.
Akinfemiwa
said that the theme ‘fuelling communication’ is apt because Forte oil needs a
superior service delivery as the
customers come first which will now make
MTN customers to drive into 500 Forte
Oil station nationwide to fuel their cars and at the same time meet their
communication needs.
“I
believe that for every ten customers that come into Forte Oil station, seven of
them use MTN. So it is an attraction for people to meet their telecommunication
needs and that will make them to think about Forte Oil first. We have opportunity to offer superior customer services to our
customers and in addition boost our revenue,” Akinfemiwa said.
