The Managing Director/ Chief
Executive Officer Swift Network Ltd, Mr
Charles Anudu has described knowledge, right frame of mind and health as the
keys to performance in every sphere of life.
Anudu made this statement in his
opening remark at one-day seminar on key
to performance excellence organised by the Managing Director of Maureen George Concept Ltd,
Mr George Emetuche in Lagos, and stressed that Swift Network Ltd had to
establish the Swift Academy because it want to send a message down that there
is excellence in doing business.
He informed DigitalSENSE Business News that
his company adopted the strategy of training graduates with at least second
class upper which gave rise to the establishment of Candel that now owns a
telecom company with 25 offices in Nigeria and six in Ghana being manned by 75
agronomists.
He explained that there is a
digital divide and internet is something that we need because learning has
changed as one can go to the U-tube to learn about sales management as such
exposure has often times showcase subordinates knowing more than their boss.

learnt from the chronicle of the success story of the MD Swift that it is the
right attitude of trying to “listen twice as you talk and observe twice as you
talk and then you will be an effective leader.”
Earlier, the Managing Director of
Maureen George Concept Ltd, Mr George Emetuche said that the seminar was put
together to expose people in all works of life on the keys to performance
excellence and unveiling of ‘open an educative book and read a page daily
(RAP)’ which was performed by the MD Swift.
