Odusote goes to agric ministry

Former Director of Information Technology at the Ministry of Information and immediate past Permanent Secretary for Culture, Tourism and National Orientation Ministry, Mrs. Ibukun Odusote has been redeployed to the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.
This follows the posting of five new permanent secretaries and redeployment of others by the Federal Government recently.
DigitalSENSE Business News gathered that the outgoing Permanent Secretary of agric ministry, Dr. Ezekiel Oyemomi who has been transferred to the Public Service Institute enjoined members of staff of the ministry to support and work with his successor.
In her remark, Odusote noted that the agriculture ministry is critical to the nation as there are lands across the nation which supports farming.
“We have no business with hunger,” she said, only if we optimise our land mass.
Odusote also promised to work with staff of the ministry towards attaining the ministry’s target, working with every available resources to get the nation out of the woods.
Alhaji Idris Mamman, the Director, Finance and Accounts standing in for directors of agric ministry relayed the directors’ message which is to support the incoming permanent secretary, and work towards meeting and surpassing the Nigerian agricultural transformation agenda before the year runs out.
