Expert calls for bridging the gap around data centre design in Nigeria

The Director, Business and Strategy, Kits Technologies, Taofeek Okoya has call on concerned stakeholders to work towards bridging the knowledge gap in data centre design, implementation and operations in the country.
Okoya said that inadequate knowledge and poor management will jeopardise data centre investment in Nigeria.
According to him, one of the major challenges facing the management of data centre is downtime as some data centres are not in line with modern technology.
Some data centres, he said were built without adequate design in mind. Kits Technologies, an indigenous Information and Communication Technology firm, he said focuses bridging the knowledge gap so as to help companies with investment or willing to invest in data centres.
He also confirms that Kits is set to train data centre managers as well as other stakeholders in the country which is in a bid towards helping companies to achieve efficient data centre management, zero downtime and efficiency.
