ICANN de-accredit 3 registrars, 1 terminates self



The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has de-accredited three registrars for failing to comply with its relevant policies with additional one terminating self whereas ICANN has authorized the bulk transfer of Generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) names from the affected registrars.

DigitalSENSE Business News gathered that the affected registrars included C I Host, Inc., Central Registrar Inc. DBA Domainmonger.com, Power Brand Center Corporation, while domain names under their cares have been transferred to Astutium Limited.

ICANN has also authorized the bulk transfer of gTLD names from Dotted Ventures Inc. to Astutium due to the termination of its Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA).

Also, DigitalSENSE Business News gathered these gTLD registries have processed the bulk transfers, even as former registrant-customers of C I Host, Central Registrar, Power Brand Center, and Dotted Ventures should receive notices from Astutium advising of the transfer.

ICANN advised that customer questions about the transfer should be directed to Astutium.
