Teledom, Transition Networks come to town with broadband to homes, cities



 United States-based broadband infrastructure build-out company, the Transition Networks Incorporated in partnership with Lagos-counterpart, Teledom International Limited, entered the Nigeria’s market space to drive broadband availability to homes, offices, campus and cities across the nation.
Speaking on the formal launch in Lagos, the chief executive officer, Teledom International, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, says the collaboration between the two companies, would see Teledom International Limited, a leading broadband infrastructure and technology provider in Nigeria distributing world class products of Transition Networks in the country’s vibrant Information and Communications Technology market.
He also said, the American company offers networking products that enable ICT infrastructure builders, network designers and builders, systems integrators and network operators deliver and manage their networks efficiently, excellently and cost-effectively.
Particularly, he said, the company offers enterprise network solutions including ethernet switches, routers, fiber modules, media converters and network management solutions, stressing that they equally offer Optic Fibre Network for data, voice and video; mobile backhaul applications; connectors; access control and video surveillance systems for homeland and national security operations.
Essentially, Ekuwem explained that Transition Networks provides reliable network devices of the future applicable in government, education, industry including processing, manufacturing and infrastructure, as well as telecommunications, Information Technology (IT), banks, electronic media, security to name a few.
He confirmed that top level representatives of Transition Networks, are in the country to work with Teledom Group to deliver product presentations and interact extensively with participants at the launch with a view to establishing business relationships of long term mutual rewards to all parties.
As said by him, Transition Networks is coming to Nigeria with over 20 years of growth and expertise in hardware manufacturing, offering the ability to affordably integrate the benefits of fiber optics into any data network – in any application – in any environment.
Additionally, he said, Transition Networks offer support for multiple protocols, any interface, and a multitude of hardware platforms; its portfolio gives users the power to deliver and manage your network traffic reliably over fiber.
He pointed out that the integration of MILAN Technologies into Transition Networks facilitated the expansion of Transition Networks product portfolio to include a complete line of multilayer switches. The company has since added technologies such as fiber NICs, CWDM, and SFPs to further expand its offerings to customers wanting to manage and utilize the benefits of fiber optics.
