The chief executive officer, Programos Software Limited Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Amos has disclosed that his firm is partnering with NGE Solution Inc, USA to reposition Space for Nigeria (Space4Nigeria) project.
DigitalSENSE News recalls that NGE is an architect and lead
advisor of the United Nation Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UN-
GAID)’s initiative on Strategic Planning, Architecture and Acquisition, Control
and Education (SPACE).
This initiative, he said, is intended to reposition Nigeria
on SPACE4Nigeria Strategic e-Planning (Nigeria’s official portlet to the UN
Core SPACE Strategic Planning Engine). According to Amos, currently building a
Community of Expertise (CoEs) of Quality Strategic Planning professionals with
specific and special backgrounds are in agriculture, health services,
transport, justice, environment, education, commerce and industry, youths,
sports, home affairs, social development and culture, infrastructure cum ICT.
Further, he said, that the project covers Information/Strategy,
Rural & Urban Development, Works & Housing, Civil Service Commission,
Establishment Training and Pension, Finance, Economic Planning & Budget
from around the country.
Contents derived thereof, Mr. Amos said, will promote and
complement quality economic development planning considerations and decisions
across both public and private organizations as well as boost development of
local capacities in web, mobile content innovation in Nigeria and Africa at
large.
