Nigerian-Briton famous international actor of Eastern
extraction, Chiwetelu Umeadi ‘Chiwetel’ Ejiofor, has finally made it as nominee
for 2014 Oscar award for his role in the “12 Years a Slave” film, reports DigitalSENSE Art & Fashion.

Art & Fashion also reports holds dual citizenship, had his nomination confirmed
Thursday, as Best Actor in the category for his role in the 2013 film.
Chiwetelu is reputed as an OBE Academy Award-nominated British
film, television, and theatre actor including the awardee for Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor
among others.
He was born July
10, 1977 at the Forest Gate, United Kingdom (UK) to the family of Mr and Mrs Arinze
and Obiajulu Ejiofor.
Speaking on
the nomination, his sibling, Ms Zain Asher, a CNN correspondent, said they have
prayed and look forward to this moment in over the years and were excited it
came eventually.
