JUST a few days to the end of 2013 the quarrel between the Telecom giant, Globacom and Koko master D’banj seems to be over as D’banj coasted home with a mouth-watering cheque. D’banj was the company’s ambassador five years ago for the period of one year. It was speculated that his endorsement termination that year was because he demanded more money and the company didn’t find the demand worthy, hence the two parties parted ways.
Years after, Glo is back in bed with the DB Records boss. He joins his colleagues who were recently unveiled as Glo ambassadors. The list includes M.I, Burna Boy, Naeto C,Flavour, Omawumi, Waje, and others.
D’banj was unveiled recently at the Globacom Head office, otherwise known as Mike Adenuga’s Towers, Victoria Island. He also autographed a Glo line and Nokia Asha, which has 50 of his mega hit songs pre-loaded in the phones.
