OBJ, 30,000 participants took part @ Social Media Week Lagos

The former president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, also known as OBJ, was among the participants at the just concluded Social Media Week (SMW 2013) which held in Lagos.

The week-long event also attracted over 30,000 participants with over 1,000 events.

DigitalSENSEBusiness News investigations revealed that from Doc Searles joining the Social Media Week flock in Washington D.C. recently, the former Nigerian President, also had the privilege to participate in the event in Lagos.

Even as Warby Parker’s Neil Blumenthal was part of the show in New York City (NYC) and Danish Minister for Economic Affairs and the Interior, Margrethe Vestager, graced the event too.

Our sources said that they saw leaders and innovators shaping the conversation.
“SMW13 was one of our most inspirational yet,” declared our source.
