MTN lifts Master Taiwo Lawal hit by stray bullet with N500,000

Leading mobile operator in the country, MTN Nigeria has lifted a toddler, Taiwo Lawal, who was critically injured after a stray bullet hit from an armed robbery incident on Sunday, September 09 2012 in Gbadaga area of Lagos State.

Master Taiwo who has been receiving medical attention at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LUTH) was reported to have needed a lifeline to further his treatment in LUTH, hence, MTN came to boosted the financial search with the sum of N500,000.

The formal presentation of the N500,000 cheque to Master Taiwo's relative (Aunt), Miss Marian Lawal; was performed Friday by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, MTN Nigeria, Mrs. Funmi Omogbenigun, supported by Mr.Funso Aina, Public Relations Manager, MTN Nigeria at Falomo-Lagos.

Meanwhile family of Master Taiwo Lawal says the boy still need more financial support to survive the operation, even as the stray bullet has been removed from the boy.
