The continent's foremost Mobile television company, DStv Mobile has added two new devices, iDrifta and Walka 7 to their range of products.
DStv Mobile revealed to DigitalSENSE News in a press statement that the iDrifta is a plug and play mobile DVB-H receiver which is defined specifically for Apple mobile devices.
The General Manager of DStv Mobile Nigeria, Mayo Okunola said its portability enables Apple devices users to enjoy all of the great entertainment expected on DStv Mobile.
iDrifta, according to Okunola, is compatible with the iPod 4th generation, iPhone 4/4S and iPad 1, 2 and 3.
“After plugging it into your iOS device, the iDrifta device redirects the user directly to the DStv Mobile application on the apple store and the user only needs to download it for free to start watching their favourite programmes,” explains Okunola that viewers with Apple devices could access full range of channels anywhere at any time.
Another of the newly added device, Walka 7, he explained is a complete portable television with enhanced visual quality and no other device is required to view.
Commenting on the 7-inch viewing screen Walka 7, Okunola said it has been launched in Nigeria following the growing appetite for mobile TV in the country, and has 6 hours battery life.
The same great channels in sport, music, general entertainment and children's programme are also available on Walka 7 and other DStv mobile devices.
The iDrifta and Walka 7 will retail at the recommended price of N9, 500 and N18, 900 respectively.
