DEFINITELY after a long search and waiting game, telecommunication company, Etisalat Nigeria unveiled Nigerian Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji as its latest brand’s ambassador.
“We officially welcome @GenevieveNnaji as an Etisalat Ambassador for the #Easyflex. We do quality not quantity.” Etisalat Twitter handle read soon after the public presentation recently in Lagos.
Industry watchers alleged that unconscious line over “we do quality not quantity” was strongly targeted at Etisalat competitors, especially MTN Nigeria who was widely reported to have lured another actor who stood in for the brand, Mr. Hafiz ‘Saka’ Oyetoro.
This, concealed line was not unconnected also to Glo who is seen as assembling ‘quantity’ of artiste as ambassadors.
