MasterCard cardholders in Nigeria now
have an opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to Lisbon, Portugal to
watch the UEFA Champions League Final Lisbon 2014 as a part of the Priceless
Africa platform launched in the country in September 2013, reports DigitalSENSE Business News.
The campaign tagged “Win a trip, few can win” beckons
on MasterCard prepaid, debit and credit cardholders from across Nigeria to
share unique stories showcasing how using their MasterCard product has positively
impacted their lives.
Also, DigitalSENSE Business News
gathered that the entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges and after six
weeks, the selected finalists’ entries will be posted on social media for
consumers to cast the deciding vote for their favourite stories. The top four
finalists will be selected to attend UEFA Champions League Final at the Estádio
do Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Saturday 24 May.
Vice President and Area Business Head,
MasterCard West Africa, Ms Omokehinde Ojomuyide told DigitalSENSE Business News Nigeria
already appreciates the immense benefits that cashless transactions have to
offer and this campaign could not have come at a better time, when more and
more consumers are embracing the security and convenience of electronic
payments.
“As we make strides towards a world beyond
cash in Nigeria and across Africa, we create opportunities like these to reward
our valued consumers with unique experiences across diverse passion points and
encourage them to shift from cash to electronic payments,” she said.
MasterCard cardholders are invited to share
their short stories over a period
of six weeks.
MasterCard launched the Priceless Africa
consumer loyalty platform in Nigeria, in addition to six other African markets.
The launch in Nigeria saw the country join the current 26 MasterCard Priceless
destinations across the globe, and offers consumers in Nigeria the best in
luxurious beach retreats, food and dining discount offers at selected
restaurants, unforgettable entertainment experiences, travel and shopping
experiences from around the world, and access to exciting sporting events.
