Two new Medical Directors have been
appointed for the Abia State University Teaching (ABSUTH) and Abia State
Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Umuahia by the Executive Governor of
Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji,
reports DigitalSENSE Business News
This was confirmed to DigitalSENSE Business News by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Charles
Ajunwa who said the two Medical Directors are Prof. Nwachukwu Isreal Kanu and
Dr. Uwadilachi Iweha respectively.
Equally, the Governor approved the
constitution of a new Board for the Abia State Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic
Centre, Umuahia.
DigitalSENSE Business News also learnt that Prof. A.U. Mbanaso was appointed Chairman
of the new Board, while other appointed members are Engr. Rich Onyeaso, Dr.
Abali Chukwu, Mr. Ifeanyi Agbai, and Charles Okwudili.
The new board will be sworn-in in
due course.
